Where it began....

Before BGR 924 002 there was of course BGR 924 001.

BGR 924 001 Oran Park.

This was a 1979 Porsche 924.
Mods... EBC brake pads, soft road tyres and some numbers on the side..

Claim to fame.... Leaving me in one piece after hitting the wall at Mt Panorama Bathurst.

I was pushed off the track by another car at Murray's corner. I hit the wall at about 100km/h.

So that finished the first chapter. Almost.

This is me repairing the front of the car. It would never be the same as before the accident.

I did try to fix it. It looked ok but it never handled the same. So it was retired.
